86markup · Chrome extension
Connect your purchasing data.
Use desktop Chrome and your own authorized CustomerFirst account. The extension captures the prices and invoice details you view, then syncs them to your restaurant workspace.
1. Install the pilot extension
The extension is currently distributed as a pilot download. A Chrome Web Store release is not available yet.
Download extension v0.3.0- Download and unzip the extension into a folder you will keep.
- Open
chrome://extensionsin Chrome and enable Developer mode. - Select Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder containing
manifest.json. - Pin 86markup in Chrome’s extension menu. Click its icon to open the persistent side panel. Return here and refresh the page.
Already using an older version? Replace its files with this download, click Reload on its card in Chrome’s extensions page, then refresh 86markup and CustomerFirst. Check Chrome’s site-access setting if detection still fails.
2. Pair your restaurant location
- Sign in to 86markup and create or select your organization.
- Sign in to CustomerFirst. Open the extension and copy the supplier customer ID.
- Open Connections, add your location and customer details, then generate an extension token.
- Paste the connection values into the extension’s backend settings and save. Approve access to your 86markup site when Chrome asks.
3. Capture and sync
Browse product prices and open each invoice’s detail page in CustomerFirst. Select Sync Prices in the extension. Then check Products and Invoices in 86markup. Invoice headers alone do not include the product prices; open the invoice details to capture those lines. Connection tokens expire after one hour, so generate a new token when needed.
Supplier passwords, cookies and authentication tokens stay out of the 86markup sync payload. Detection only confirms the extension is present in this browser; it does not confirm supplier sign-in or a completed sync.
